Bio – James Ottar Grundvig
James Grundvig is an author, investigative journalist, and media producer whose work examines how power, technology, and narrative shape human perception and institutional behavior. His writing and analysis focus on cognitive sovereignty, influence systems, and the quiet architectures through which modern authority now operates.
Since 2005, Grundvig has written for national and international publications including The Epoch Times, HuffPost, and Financial Times Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) magazine. His reporting has covered geopolitics, national security, institutional corruption, and post–World War II power structures, with particular attention to how psychological and informational systems shape public life.
During the COVID era, he produced and hosted the top-ranked podcast Unrestricted Truths for American Media Platform (AMP Media), conducting long-form interviews with experts across medicine, intelligence, economics, and technology. Over the course of his media career, he has hosted more than 1,200 interviews and served as editor-in-chief of AMP Media’s investigative news blog, AMP Journal. In 2023, he transitioned to Decentralized Media to launch a new geopolitical podcast Unrestricted Warfare, focusing on cognitive warfare, narrative control, and modern influence operations.
In 2024, Grundvig wrote, produced, and directed the documentary film Splintering Babylon, which investigates post-World War II institutional infiltration, the importation of Fourth Reich scientists into U.S. programs, and the legacy of psychological warfare and mind-control research.
He is the author of three published books, with a fourth—Mind Virus—forthcoming in 2026. It’s a near-future SciFi novel exploring AI-mediated cognitive capture through allegory rather than prediction.
Prior to his work in journalism and media, Grundvig spent 25 years in construction management industry on large-scale infrastructure projects in the New York metropolitan area and served as an advisor to a leading cybersecurity and compliance firm.
He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of a new platform, in which he deploys the system run through and analyze the Big Tech landscape, parsing truth and light from hype and promises of AI.
